William Tuck

Fluent in English and French. I am currently studying Product Design Engineering BSc at the University of Derby. I have had 10 weeks work experience working for Contour Aero where I did several different jobs including; product design, marketing, sales and working in the workshop.

During my time in the workshop I learnt how to use several machines such as vacuum former, 3 axis machine and 5 axis machine.

I have always wanted to make things ever since I was a little boy. My grandfather was a carpenter and kept many of his machines so whenever I saw him we were always making different objects out of wood. This made me want to make new things and new designs and as I grew up i realised that I could make a living doing something I loved which lead to me becoming a product designer.
