This project is for the Brattle Theatre at Lesley University.
Brattle Theatre puts on a whole bunch of movies for the students each moth and this is for the month of January in 2011. The calendar only has the dates of when the movies are played, instead of everyday of the month. Instead of a normal grid I put everything on a 3D plane.
This is a quote by MC Escher. I took what he said and it applied it to my piece abstractly. His quote is ," a pleasure to deliberately mix together objects of two and three dimensions, surface and spatial relationships, and to make fun of gravity."
In this project i had to redesign a newspaper, so i made the layout diagonal. the newspaper headlines are posted diagonal across the center of the page to lead your eyes across the whole page.
