Sculptural Shadow - I named my collection as “SCULPTURAL SHADOWâ€. This collection is all about manipulating the darts & pleats on the geometric shapes (squares and rectangles) to get 3D sculptural effect on the surface. This gives constructive, sculptural and visual effects on the garment’s dimensions. All of these are under the roof of ‘ZERO WASTE’. In simply words: ‘What can we do with using squares and rectangles?’Most designs have a raw edges, so should be non-fraying and I was limited by the options of the fabric. But I also explored the techniques to handle those fabrics. Different techniques were used for the finishing edges. Now working on the same ideas to explore and extend collection as a commercial and efficient. Trying to creative reusable designs. As a result, the fabric consumption is at the minimum for all the designs and can be easily commercialized.
