For this project my goal was to design a new pair of safety glasses that incorporate hearing protection. For the most part hearing protection is disregarded since it's an extra piece of equipment. Gaining inspiration from Oakely electronic eye wear I came up with a mechanical arm that allows hearing protection to be included with eye protection and to be used only when necessary. Another goal was to make them stylish enough to help promote the use of hearing protection to the younger generation.
