Nike + Shuffle Headphones

Long distance athletes; whether they’re professionals, enthusiasts or just amateurs, often prefer to listen to music as they believe that it helps to increase performance. In fact, psychologist Dr Costas Karageorghis during an interview with the guardian referred to music as “a legal drug for athletes” as well as claiming that it can increase a runner’s performance by up to 15% in his latest book “inside sport Psychology”. However this is not an alien concept to most of us as listening to music during exercise nowadays is common practice. As a result of this high demand, it has become quite a saturated market however these existing products are not without their shortfalls. In response to this I have designed the "Nike + Shuffle." It’s a device that combines the Mp3 with the sports headphones and by dividing the Mp3 electronics between the two it balances out the weight. It's a stylish, ergonomic, and convenient solution that simplifies the way we listen to music whilst on the run.
