Mearn's and Gill Oil Industry Award Design
This was a university competition sponsered by Mearn's and Gill. We were commissioned to design an award for the oil industry awards in Aberdeen. My direction focused on key words as drivers for the final development of the award. These words were drawn from primary research including brain storming sessions, street interviews and online surveys. My final design was inspired by the contact of liquids of different viscosity with the intent of recreating oils contact with water.
