Snowboard Colorado Magazine is a free regional magazine that covers the industry, riders, gear and lifestyle of snowboarding. The mag runs 6 issues from September to February each winter—this was the fourth volume since the magazines inception in 2009. Seeing how SBCOMAG is a free magazine and didn’t have to play by the rules of all the other magazines that run in your local bookstore, we decided to have fun with the cover and switch it up each issue. Another nice design touch was shifting the paper stock throughout the magazine from a reply to thick matte to glossy, giving a tactile experience and putting emphasis on certain content.
