Shackelton & Byrd - Cartoon Concept Art
Summer 2008, Flash/Animate CC. This was a kids entertainment and educational property we were pitching to Cold Stone Creamery. I believe Byrd came upon the remains of Shackelton's ship, icebound in Antarctica. He makes a snowman with debris from the ship, and the residual spirit of the expedition brings the snowman - Shackelton to life. I was given some adventure situations by my creative director, and the characters by a colleague of mine. I came up with the layout for the scene, reposed the characters and painted the backgrounds.
