This shows my process from my initial sketch through to my final iteration of the Blue Jay mascot, with input from Bruiser's Principal Designer, Lucas Hawk.
Cardinal Mascot created for Bruiser Studios. It works for an athletic mascot, but I left the swooping lines to imply the wing and rest of the bird and to add a bit of elegance to an otherwise ordinary mascot.

Greyhound mascot - my high school mascot was a greyhound and there weren't a lot of options available. I wanted to do the greyhound running, but show its speed and power as well.
Process sheet for a knight mascot. Initial drawings through changes. This needs further refinements before it can be finalized, but I like the unique look for this knight and I'm hopeful I can refine it to something that really works well.
