A 420 foot pedestrian bridge linking the Elliott Avenue transportation corridor to Centennial Park and Amgen Research and Development Center (now Expedia). The bridge is formed by a single clear span arch supported by a pair of canted archtes, creating an abstract sculpture of the double helix DNA form and symbol of the Amgen corporation’s achievements in the field of biotechnology. The bridge is clad in stainless steel mesh and tensioned fabric membrane as it crosses the BNSF railway lines below.
