Campus Planning

OSU-Cascades is preparing to relocate and expand its campus in Bend, Oregon. This project presents a 77 acre master plan that is divided into three distinct phases to transition the campus into the future. User livability and a comprehensive sustainability plan are the prominent factors guiding the design. Collaboration with OSU, the City of Bend, and the Parks and Recreation Office led to the development of clear design objectives and programatic opportunities. Research of renewable energy and local ecology and history inspired the design for a system of sustainable infrastructure that serves as the foundation to the campus and as a catalyst to encourage the Central Oregon region towards environmental design practices. This project is original and individual work by Sydney Powell.
