Mae West Lamp - The inspiration for this luminaire is the 1920s style of evening fashion. For this project, students were required to design and fabricate a functional prototype of a luminaire. The shade of the lamp is constructed of roughly 600 safety pins threaded with plastic beads. The base is a painted glass vase.
