"Mechanical" shoe collection
I really like the look of mechanical devices and machines of the 19th century. This infinite set of wheels, gears, iron hinges, nails, and a combination of metal parts with wood, which are now an integral part of a Steam punk style, inspired me to create this mini-collection. I wanted to give the shoes a "mechanical" look and cut the shoe pattern to details, which are connected between them with a loop thru which threaded rubber cord. Therefore, these loops and rubber cords is not just decorative items, but also functional. Because of that shoes acquires flexibility and stretching when worn, then a tight around the feet.
