Frestec rebranding project for tier 4 city users
White goods manufacture Frestec was seeking causes and solution for their market share deduction in China. They need to rebuild market strategy to better fit users. Our goal was to create new design language for new Frestec appliance line, total of 5 refrigerator models.
We interviewed over 3000 users from China to understand reasons behind. As the main design partner for Frestec. We quickly identify the problem and resolve their internal conflicts. Thankful to fluent Mandarin and our talented designers willing to attend negotiation meetings immersing in smog of cigarette smoke. Through dedication and consistent communication with the design, engineering and manufacturing team from Frestec. We were able to produce the working refrigerators in remarkable 4 months to meet the sale deadline.
The new line of refrigerators was a market success, it effectively boosted the sales of Frestec refrigerators by 10% according to marketing director Yao Yong .
