Custom computer mouse

The brief was to produce a working computer mouse that is ergonomically suited and unique to an individual. A form was made from Plasticine, and its geometry captured using a 3D scanner. A donor mouse was used to provide the electronic components and its internal structure was reverse engineered and implemented with the CAD data from the scanner to make the parts. The final CAD parts were then built using a SLS machine. The parts were then finished by hand and assembled with the electronic components. The final prototype functioned very well.
