INFLUENCE Magazine is a high-end quarterly targeted at Florida politicians, corporate executives, and others involved or interested in the goings-on of Tallahassee lobbying. This is a small sample from the 136-page inaugural issue. As Creative Director for the magazine, I managed and implemented all layout duties, including page design for all articles and columns, insertion of 3rd-party advertisements, and coordination of printing. This is a package redesign to direct an existing product toward a new target market. "Before" shows the original packaging, which seemed to be aimed toward homemakers, to be served with a traditional, sit-down, family dinner. "After" shows my new design, aimed toward younger, more casual demographics. The bright, contrasting colors and bold fonts and geometric shapes are hip and stylish, and the reclosable can is convenient to snacking.

Each section describes and explains one part of a proper business plan and asks some simple questions about the target business. By the end of the booklet, a complete business plan has been created. I was provided with two pages as a sample of the intended end result, along with a preexisting business plan. From there, I was responsible for all planning, design, layout, copywriting, question formulation, and editing. Copyright, 2009 © Trust Business Systems, Inc.

This is a two-sided business card that I designed for an experienced insurance professional to use to market herself while job-hunting. I also created matching letterhead and email signatures to create a complete visual theme. Several of her interviewers remarked on how attractive and professional the design made her application material, as well as how much it caught their attention for her to have her own "brand."

Also included are examples of how the design style can be extended to other project collaterals: a website, CD packaging, and training software. These are followed by three other possible template designs.
