Universal Design Challenge: Easy Scan
The EasyScan is designed to help visually impaired users in their day to day activities. The scanner is pulled over text text of money which then gets converted to audio. The audio is outputted to the user through an earpiece. This project was created with the collaboration of experienced assistive technology users.
The EasyScan won first prize at The Enable Ireland Community Design Challenge 22/10/14.
The EasyScan was part of the Universal Design exhibition in The National Museum of Ireland.
