Planned and executed logistical arrangements for the Anchorage Convention & Visitors Bureau-sponsored float in the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, Calif. – a campaign to celebrate Alaska's 50th anniversary of statehood. Logistics included hiring and managing Alaskan talent and celebrities and coordinating the post-parade event to exhibit dog sledding, rock climbing and Alaska Native Olympic games. ACVB's natural attractions-themed float won the National Trophy.
