Out of Context - Changing Product Photography
Alga V2 (Beta).
As a collaborative project between a photographer and a designer, Sebastian Damm and Zaldy Infante combined to push the boundaries of a traditional product photoshoot. In an attempt to change the perception of the product, and as a photographic exploration, Sebastian and Zaldy took a pendant light and photographed it to reflect its natural inspiration. This photoshoot breaks traditional perceptions of what a product is and how it should be advertised.
Alga V2 (Beta) was inspired greatly by nature, in particular water, and this is reflected closely in the photographic series.
