This was a project to encourage my toddler to go potty. It worked!
The Design:
While we were potty training our toddler, I noticed she took an interest in when we flushed the toilet, and in a few potty attempts, mimed pushing the flush button on her potty.
I did the design in CAD, and made it so that it would fit onto her potty.
A discreet toggle switch at the bottom makes sure that she can only "flush" her toilet when the deed is done. Without the secret switch turned on, pushing the flush button does nothing.
The Fabrication:
The main body of the Flush Button is 3D printed.
The electronics consists of an arcade button wired to a MP3 player circuit module. The sound effect is loaded onto an SD card connected to the MP3 player module.
