F.R.I.E.N.D.S Diorama center pieces for a wedding reception.
The Design:
The end users are big fans of the TV show F.R.I.E.N.D.S and wanted something that represented them well as the center pieces for their wedding reception.
Together, we chose 2 iconic sets to replicate: the Fountain opening scene, and Central Perk.
The parts were designed in CAD.
The Fabrication:
The sofas and fountain were first 3D printed, then a silicone mould made from the prints.
Multiples of the sofas and fountains were then cast in polyurethane resin, painted and weathered.
The lamp shade in the fountain scene is made from laser-printed transparency paper.
LEDs were wired into the dioramas, and the electronics hidden underneath the platform.
