The brief was to design a seat that can accommodate an adult, by the manipulation of a flat sheet of material.
I began by experimenting with paper, looking at how folds can increase its structural strength and tabs can lock the structure together. These ideas were then developed through a series of models which led to the final design.
This project was entered into the Design of Dwell competition and was shortlisted.
