The blue velvet evening gown was inspired by various stories of the Snow Queen from many European fairy tales. The blue velvet gown was accented with Chinese silk brocade, white rabbit fur, and many yards of tulle.
The kimono is a modern twist on a classic garment. Adding a shawl collar in an accenting fabric, over-sized sleeves, and a pre-tied obi, all elements that help to update this classic style.
Gown inspired by one designed by Fredrick Worth in 1890. The original gown is in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
