Perfumer & Flavorist magazine is a trade magazine for the perfume and flavor industry. It is published 8 times a year by Allured Publishing Corporation. This cover was created by placing a bunch of fresh basil leaves on a flatbed scanner. The use of the scanner to capture the image creates a depth and contrast that adds interest and detail to the cover, and conveys the essence of the issues subject matter.
