Theatrical Ghost Story

This is a series that tells a ghost story involving the superstition of the ghost lamp.

It starts off of a girl closing up the theater after a performance, placing the ghost lamp in its place, but what stirs in the dark but a friendly figure...and the tale that unfolds.

I was inspired by this superstition as well as Phantom of the Opera, Cinderella, Ah-ha's hit 'Take on Me' and its music video, Anatasia, the fashions of the 1700's, the Renaissance masters, and my own touches in story telling.

All of the paintings were done on 28-33 inch arches water color paper, mircon ink and watercolor.

Time: 78-80 hours of drafting, inking, and painting
