The Roadster Steering Wheel combines futuristic features with luxury materials. Inspired by the Pagani Huayra wheel, it incorporates the flat wide airbag while further developing the grips and finishes. I used Autodesk Alias to create the 3d model, and Keyshot to render it. This project allowed me to use my compound shape modeling skills to create a luxury piece of automobile interior.
Inspiration came primarily from the Pagani Huayra wheel. I also looked at other luxury interiors, and professional racing wheels which inspired the U shape grips.
The built in screens display vital information to the driver
