The design looks appealing with all the contents visible in its time on the shelf. The barrel shape is a very traditional shape for gifts, with a simple ribbon to complete the look.
The ribbon is released from the bottom to take the entire enclosure off rather than just the lid, creating an attractive centre piece style presence on the dining table.
A conceptual solution for the bespoke Easter egg, the ‘egg cup’ at the bottom holds the base of the egg in place, where the ribbon of pulled sugar creates a rigid structure to hold the upper half, part supported by a tube of praline eggs kept in place on a podium. The egg cup becomes a lasting feature in the home and can be used as a serving dish for the praline eggs.
An in context render of the design amongst other existing Easter eggs on the shelves of M&S.
