Creating a supportive learning environment within the library that supports how students learn in the classrooms. Students today learn through group and individual work a much more social learning environment. Through creating a learning environment that is more social along with incorporating the ever evolving and changing technology of a wide variety of technology. This will be accomplished with spaces that will be able to accomedate both individual users and groups. Supporting this idea and taking into consideration Sac State is a communter campus as well. Creating spaces that accomodate both the on the go commuter user and the on campus user. To enhance this main idea of a social environment a clustered space plan will be enforced. Clustered space planning will provide for a more social studying and working environment allowing both staff and students to interact more.
