Lowdi
This project was developed for submission to a student design competition, in which my design was short-listed, and featured on Coroflot. The Lowdi 3D Controller tracks both hands and all ten fingers wirelessly with pinpoint precision and incredible speed. It was crucial that the possibilities for the control of these gestures were virtually limitless. This involved looking at the existing Lowdi speaker product, understanding their brand and form semantics, whilst incorporating these into my own concepts. It was important to convey their brand identity and language when presenting my design. Making a solid form model at 1:1 scale was important in gauging my concept’s weight, shape and angles. Capturing the feel and realism within the prototype.
