Metal Prints
My girlfriend is an amateur photographer and loves to capture the beauty of Chicago architecture. For Christmas, I printed her favorite pictures on polished aluminum. Colored prints take on a luminescent reflective quality. On black and white prints, any white areas become transparent and reveal the polished metal underneath. This unique material choice allowed for some great highlights and reflections that could not be captured with the photographs alone. It's a more 3D way of looking at a 2D image.
