Life Radio Use - This set of renders shows the simple use of the Life Radio. The handle is simply flipped up and rotated until sound starts coming out of the speaker. At this point the red button can be pushed to put the user in instant 2 way contact with an aid service. All renderings are done in 3ds Max using a Solidworks model. The design was generated to aid Somali nomads afflicted with Kala Azar. It had to be as cheap as possible to manufacture, dutrable and as simple as possible to use

Life Radio Assembly - This set of renders shows the simple assembly of the Life Radio. It features 4 injection moulded components (upper and lower casing, brace and handle) all of which are made without undercuts. All renderings are done in 3ds Max using a Solidworks model. The design was generated to aid Somali nomads afflicted with Kala Azar. It had to be as cheap as possible to manufacture, dutrable and as simple as possible to use
