Frederick Douglass History Contest Direct Mail Piece
A direct mail design for The Frederick Douglass Essay Contest in U.S. History. This year’s contest challenged high school students to write about technical inventions created in Massachusetts.
I used a patriotic color scheme as well as created illustrations of Frederick Douglass, The Campbell’s Soup Can and The MIT lab (where the first computer was conceived) to create a design that is historically themed, while also being exciting, cool and contemporary for the high school audience.
