Logo design for the growing community of upcoming 3D artists "3D Homies". I am a part of this community & the work done in monthly challenges and the overall support that members of the community receive are what inspired me to work so hard on creating recognisable branding for the community!
I wanted to encapsulate the essence of what 3D looked like for us all growing up, as that inspired us the most to create. Sticking to a "Y2K" style with rounded, fleshed-out characters & accents was key to portraying that. The orange colour scheme in the background is to represent the software we all use, "Blender". An amazing free piece of 3D software that provided us all with a new form of expression that would not have otherwise been available.
