Camera Redesign - First day working on my camera redesign for the Kodak EasyShare Z1285. For inspiration for the shape, I focused on the ergonomics of single-handed usage. The cylinder fits in the hand much better than a box. I modified it with a touch screen in the back, detachable, lens and more manual settings. Once again, this is just the first day of work, so there are a lot of details still to work into it.
Almost done! - Redesign is coming along well. Almost done with everything, just have to throw graphics on and the Kodak logo and it should be good to go.
Closer to being done - Detailing of the Kodak label added.
Bottom/Back Details - Added a viewfinder to the back display. As far as the bottom goes, a few of the mode options are visible as well as the tripod mount, battery pack slot, power button and SD card slot.
Redesign w/Original - I modeled up the original earlier, and included it in this picture. The idea with the redesign is that it would come with the simple lens, but other lenses could be attached. You can also see the pop-up flash which is deployed on the blue, but not the purple model.
Side by Side - The two lens options are compared side by side.
Poster for Redesign - Working with graphics and lettering a bit... Changed the Kodak label to all black and got rid of the bars. Also liked the silhouette work done with the lettering behind "Redefined."
