Project: Frameless Cabinet

Brief: A high end office furniture company had quality issues with their metal filing cabinets. They required a new design that functioned consistently well, would give them a unique selling point over competitors and reduce complexities within their manufacturing process.
Solution: I lead the project to develop a sliding door filling cabinet which hid all rail components from view. The floating doors helped create a unique selling point in a competitive market. The cabinet was designed to ship flat packed from china with only light assembly required before delivery. I also developed components with multiple uses to reduce parts and simplify production in a low volume market.
