Shooting Stars Contract Work - Design materials for a new baby- and child-focused portrait studio. Use brand colors and logo, and expand branding to overall design.
Proposed Winter Campaign for Sears Portrait Studio - I was contracted to do a proposal for SPS Winter 2008-09 campaign. I was provided the PMS colors and the tagline, "Don't just give a gift, grant a wish." I decided to go with a very clean layout and an appeal to the emotional/economic value that portraiture-as-gift provides.
Missouri Botanical Garden Contract Work - Various materials created while on assignment at Missouri Botanical Garden, including: invitation, organizational style guide, and event booklet.
Rosy: The Periwinkle of Power - I provided the concept, drawing and design for this character while contracted at the Missouri Botanical Garden. In keeping with the Garden's educational mission, it was important for me to be both ethnically and botanically accurate in my design for this "superhero" from Madagascar. Rosy is aimed at children 10-16.
Embark Travel Accessories - Work I performed for TRG Group. I provided the signage, some icons and laid-out the plan-o-gram. This travel accessories line is to be available at Target, so it was important for me to provide an aesthetic that meshed well with Target's, while still retaining its own voice.
iBuzzPro & Phone Broadcaster logos - Logos I created for a small business. The client wanted a bright, clean, and professional look, while still featuring literal elements.
Destroyed By Design home page - A website I designed for a St. Louis-based jewelry maker.

I created this identity for a Chicago-area photographer. It was important for me to capture her personality and her matter-of-fact, clean, yet color-saturated, style. Before beginning the project, I had Ms. Francois fill out a "personality profile" of my own making, as well as provide me with an overview of her work.
