The idea here is that the console is actually contained in the handsets and not in the box. The tabletop unit is strictly to house the dvd and bluray player. Initially the idea was to inject the gamer with nanobots that would attach themselves to the optical and sensory nerves in the brain. These would then in-turn create the game environment for the gamer. More realistic than any other, but of course the idea was to create a console for ten years in the future not fifteen or twenty.
