This was a 2nd year studio project based on design metaphors. Typical metaphoric design tends to be literal, this design plays on the functional interaction between the bird and the flower. A coil inside the mp3 player relies on induction from a larger coil housed inside the base (see Spec.) Music and 5v supply are provided via USB.
