The History Colorado Center faced the challenge of engaging visitors with fun, relevant experiences and stories. Visitor attendance in history museums had steadliy delcined since 1976, yet the opportunity for history exhibit reinvention exists. The new museum promoted a sense of community identify, serves as a community gathering space, and shares the historical society's vast collection. This exhibition design project was a collaboration between Andrew Merriell, myself, and junior designer, Brian Chen.
