Collection -“COPPEREREA”
The collection was maid for the IIJW (India international Jewelry Week 2013). The collection is inspired by nature and is a perfect blend of the natural seed Areca nut and textured copper plate. I treated the seed as an precious gem stone and blended with the copper plate where I tried to replicate the delicacy of the fibrous structure of the areca nut. The texture on the copper plate is handcrafted by me using self developed special tool for it. In India areca nut has an very spiritual value and is widely used in various ceremonial puja and festivals, so I have tried to make this collection simple, minimal, strong, sophisticated, nonsymmetrical, elegant, avant grade and natural.
