The design incorporated a "track ball" system which allowes the user to select specific files in the same manner as he or she would use a mouse to select information if using a personal computer. E-PAD - Electronic learning aid for primary school children. The product works alongside the national Curriculum to help "aid" children learn more effectively via the means on interaction. Various types of software can be uploaded, while the hard disk automatically saves information which would be benificial to the techer such as wrong answers, correct answers overall score etc.
