In the process of car designing, model making process is one of determined processes. This process is done after the making of sketch and virtual reality. Usually, a car model is made by scale of 1:5. This model making process uses the specific industrial brown clay material. The clay is stored inside an oven with 60 celcius degrees in order to keep it flexible, because the clay will harden itself when located in room temperature. Next, the soggy clay is attached into the car framework which the dimension is measured. The clay itself serves as body forming, starting from the curves, the lamp, until the glass. After the previous processes are done, the car model made of clay is left until it’s hardened. For the processes, every people has different technique in model making, because each person has different abilities.
