This is a revenue management and forecasting product of IDeaS for different section of users who cannot afford the full fledges revenue management system. It is mainly designed for mid-range hotels in America, UK, China, Middle East and Asia.
Requirement: The requirement was to provide the automated forecasting and revenue optimization solution along with some controls to the client. Also provide specific reports that can be easily understood by hotel staff based on certain time frame or filters.
User should be able to easily access the required forecast or revenue related information.
Design approach: Since user needs to see the major details for the particular day, design is based on calendar view like outlook calendar. User can easily see the occupancy forecast on calendar with the help of different colors – color codes are set by client.
