Chair 1999 - Stepping into the digital era, the rapid growth of telecommunication technology and the internet has changed the face of our daily life dramatically. Since this improvement offered people more accesses to communicate with the world, the traditional role of a family as basic unit in a society gradually becomes weaker and weaker. These rather far-reaching and convenient technologies made individuals reach any corner in the world and, inevitably, decreased the time to meet face to face as well.
