Brock University, Walker Complex Post Cairns Move Renovations and Research Lab
Renovation and refresh to existing offices due to recent occupants move to the New Cairns building. Provided larger, refreshed Boardroom, new lunch room, new copy/print area, graduate team rooms, refreshed and reconfigured offices as well as a brand new Research Lab housing a team table, workstations, a copy/print station, visiting academic lockers and a convertible 3-in 1 space housing a meeting room, and 2 interview rooms that open up into 1 large event space. Finishes concept sought to invoke vintage academia, in a light, airy, warm space. State of the art videoconferencing and smart board technology implemented. End users are members of the Social Justice Research Institute, comprising of more than 44 faculty members from various faculties (Sociology, Child and Youth Studies, English Language and Literature, Teacher Education, Geography, and Visual Arts)
