New Forms: Light Display
This was an interactive light and motion installation. There was a central column which had a set of LEDs powered by an Arduino board. There were then four additional columns that had motion sensors above them.
The purpose of this installation was to force user interaction and engagement with the work. The work provokes the user to try to play with the sensors to find different patterns that the lights make. Additionally, based on the placement of the sensors, it forced the viewer to interact with others in order to reach multiple sensors at once.
