This projects was a mathematical analysis of a transient heat diffusion problem. The problem was based on a thin wall that was generating heat and had a fixed outer temperature. The analysis was fundamentally based on the mathematical derivation of the problem starting from the generic heat diffusion equation.

This scenario could be used or altered to model heat generated from some type of radiant heating.
