2014_Ano Skotina Temple
The temple was built in the village of Ano Skotina, located in the foothills of mount Olympus in Greece.
Due to the damage caused by the sloping topology a restoration process was initiated.
The challenging mapping of the temple was realized by Cad Architects and a team of topographers led by professor Panagiotis Tokmakidis, using 3d scanning and point cloud production, combined with conventional architectural mapping to achieve accurate results.
