View from Dining area to Entryway - Figuring out the first block allowed me to use parts and pieces of the spline shapes in the front door, entry table and longer ironwork shape. The secret door was also used to hide a coat closet to the left of the front door. Elements of a floor sample at Itza Galerias were used to create the wine buffet console.
Ironwork Block - This block was a doozy as I was working with splines trying to get as close to possible to a picture I saw from a company out of Tempe, Arizona. When I was ready to turn it into a pdf and import it into photoshop to color, I realized color would not import into lines that were not closed and had to go back to autocad to make sure they were joined before saving them again. Whew! Glad I figured it out as it made it simpler to create the other ironwork pieces in the following drawing.
Kitchen Elevation
Kitchen Passthrough - All cabinetry, faucets and handles were drawn 2D based on the dimensions of the kitchen space. The ornate trim at the ceiling is based on a sample piece ordered.
Dining Chair Block Creation - This is a 2D block I created for a student project and based on dimensions from a floor sample at Itza Galerias.
Dining Area - The chair blocks, table block and lamp block are based on actual dimensions of floor samples from Itza Galerias. The three cabinets behind are based on height and width dimensions from a website featuring secret doors. These "doors" would hide a laundry area due to the nature of the house design.
Master Bedroom - This line drawing was based on my own bedroom furniture with a couple of additions to the headboard. The lighting is also based on dimesions of floor samples from Itza Galerias.
