REPURPOSED FURNITURE PROJECT
The objective of this project was to take an existing piece of furniture and repurpose or "recycle" it in a way that it becomes something entirely new. Because I wanted to work with wood, I found this DVD/CD rack at a yard sale. After dismantling the DVD rack and taking a good look at its parts individually, I sketched a few initial designs of what I could make from them. Once I decided on my final design, I turned those parts into a functioning coffee table.
